Tayla is a friendly and bubbly person with a passion for helping others and working with young children. She has experience in admin, working at a community aged care practice for over a year and a half and with children, as a netball coach and as a swimming instructor. Through her experience in admin, she has gained knowledge in speaking and interacting with a variety of people, working with NDIS providers, and the importance of meeting the health needs of others. 

 

Netball coaching has allowed Tayla to be in a group-dynamic environment, helping to develop and empower children with their social and sporting abilities. Similarly, her recent role as a swimming instructor has allowed her to work 1:1 with children with special needs, providing tailored water-based therapy to help develop their skills in a supportive, safe, and sensory-friendly environment. Her experience as a netball coach, swimming instructor, and now as a mentor has helped form her passion for working with young children, in which she will endeavour her studies in occupational therapy next year. She is dedicated to seeing children progress in their abilities, confidence, and self-fulfillment by creating a supportive and creative environment where they are guided to achieve their goals.
