Tumi is an Allied Health Assistant and 4th year Occupational Therapy student.  Tumi has previous experience working as a youth worker within the Department of Child Protection Services and values the importance of supporting young people through forming healthy relationships and empowering them to reach their personal goals. Tumi continues to strive towards being person-centered through empathetic listening, fostering trust and establishing mutual respect with young people.  Tumi comes with a variety of different interests including photography, reading, sports, anime, hiking and cooking.

What made you want to become an Allied Health Assistant?

I think every young person has amazing potential to reach their goals. So, I became an Allied Health Assistant because I have always loved connecting and supporting people to do things that are important to them.

 

What are some of your favourite activities to do in your free time?

I love to thrift for books in local thrift stores and spend time on long walks with my dog.
