Hi, I'm Sarah!

Occupational Therapist
& Avid Explorer

Sarah is a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist, having completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours in 2021. Since then, Sarah has experience working in both private and community settings supporting young people and their families to develop the skills necessary to thrive in occupations that are meaningful to them. Sarah’s values of compassion, honesty and creativity are reflected in her practice and life outside of work. On the weekends you will find Sarah exploring new places through travel, trying new hobbies or relaxing with a book in hand.

Sarah’s experience and passion is in functional skill development, building confidence and self-esteem and creating safe spaces where young people can learn, grow and thrive. For Sarah, this means taking the time to connect with each individual and their families, to understand their unique goals, values, and interests, to provide a strong foundation for their occupational therapy journey.

Sarah is particularly passionate about promoting self-advocacy, ensuring that the voice and needs of the young person are heard, validated, and championed across all environments. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in health and wellness, with a particular focus on mental health as a central aspect of her practice. Sarah believes that mental health and well-being are crucial to supporting young people’s health and development, and she advocates for a collaborative, team-based approach to mental health support.
