Kayla is currently completing her 4th and final year of Occupational Therapy through UniSA. She is a mentor and allied health assistant at Life Skills Hub and has been involved in Minecraft, cooking and craft groups, as well as doing 1:1 sessions. 

  

Previous experience from working in out of school hours care has taught her to value building strong relationships and being able to understand the different needs of young people. She is currently completing placements in the rehabilitation sector, and soon will have learning opportunities to be able to socially connect older and younger generations. 

  

Kayla strongly values getting to know clients and gaining a better understanding as to how they spend their free time, what they enjoy, and collaboratively working towards their goals. She enjoys exploring new interests and trying new things. 

  

She is a serious TV binger, and particularly enjoys anything that provides a good laugh. Making fun little skits and travel videos is another hobby of hers.
